AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): When countries like China is fully utilizing India's traditional Ayurvedic-medical treatment, but Ayurvedic treatments have never been received equal values even after 70 years of Independence. However, with the BJP led Central Govt came in power it has taken special initiatives to re-launch the Ayurvedic medical care in the country and as a part of the mission Shripad Naik, Union Minister for State AYUSH on Monday has inaugurated 'Regional Research Institute' at Khumlwng. In that Research Center, soon 100 % Ayurvedic medical service will be started with the 30 bedded hospital. Addressing a press meet Shripad Naik at BJP Krishnanagar Office said, "Once the 30 bedded hospital will be started in full wave, all kinds of treatment will be done at there from ECG to Ultrasound and all will be at free of cost. The work will be done within next 2 / 3 months". Boosting about the BJP led Central Govt's special initiative to develop Northeast, Naik said, "It has been ordered by PM Modi to recover Northeast from all kinds of backwardness, laggings".
In coming days also priority will be given to Northeast that was deprived since 70 years. Tripura has received the 4th regional centre in Northeast. Naik further criticized the state govt of Tripura for its non-interest for Ayush hospitals.
"In my last visit meeting the Health Minister Badal Choudhury I had discussed about Ayush promotions, Yoga Centre etc. Central Govt is ready to release the fund but unfortunately state govt has the least intension", Naik added.
However, the Minister confirmed that there will be hospitals of Ayush in every districts.
"I don't blame any Govt, but the Ayush, Homeopathic Dept's 20 % budget could not be spent till day since 1947. But PM Modi has taken initiative for it. Not only China now USA also interested to promote Ayush by signing MoU with India", Naik said.
