UDAIPUR, Sep 10 (TIWN): Addl Session Judge , Gomati District , Viswajeet Pandey today announced Life Time Rigorous Imprisonment against one Prasenjit Bardhan , S/O- Late Sadhu Bardhan of Pitra Pal Palar for killing his wife in a case occurred almost four years before . It is learnt that Santana Roy , D/O - Jitendra Ch Roy of Agartala got married with Prasenjit in the year 2012 but after one year of marriage Prasenjit used to pressurize her for money to be brought from her father .

Once Santana brough Rs 15000 from her father and expressed her inability to bring more . Then began the story of physical torture on her . On 2nd February 2013 quarrel broke out between husband and wife and out of rage Prasenjit hit Santana on her head with an iron rod twice . Santana died on the spot . Immediately Prasenjit surrendered before the Pitra Out Post .
