AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) has protested at Agartala against the continuous water-logging problems of the capital city.
They also raised certain demands as:
1. Water discharging machines should be put in scientific manner,
2. Modern equipments should be used in water discharging,
3. Howrah river and Katakhal should be repaired,
4. Western part's water flowing in the town must be stopped,
5. Proper compensations should be provided,
6. Roads should be maintained properly.
A deputation was placed with these deamnds to the Mayour of AMC. SUCI Secretary Arun Bhowmik said, "Living amid 21st century's modern equipments, such sufferings are not accepted",
