AGARTALA, August 8 (TIWN): West Tripura District Administration today organized Cleanliness Programme as a part of Independence Day 2014. All the officials, clerks of DM office including District Magistrate Abhishek Singh participated in this social work.

Today morning infront of the DM Office District Magistrate Abhishek Singh started cleanliness Programme by cleaning the road with broom. Thereafter every official and other clerk participated in this social work. On this Occasion Abhishek Singh told that, it is our duty to make the environment clean and fresh. Clean environment widens our thoughts which will create a civilized society. He further appealed to the citizens to use dustbins.

Besides this cleanliness programme, such kinds of voluntary programme` were also been organized in different offices and blocks. DM appealed all the blocks and different departments to use all the available materials for this noble cause.
