AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): A 60 ft of Durga idol will be made by Netaji Play Centre in this upcoming Durga Puja and ahead of the puja the Netaji Play Forum has conducted a programme dedicated for the senior citizens.

CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar, Congress leader Ratna Dutta remained present. But surprising matter was that none of those leaders had advised for the donation issue that will be taken from the public.

A source said that the Play Forum asks 3000, 5000, 10000 of donation from the locals.

In a press meet the Puja Committee Secretary A. Bose said that this 60 ft of Durga idol will be created to mark the club's 60 years of completion.

But who will give the money ? Question is also raising how they will manage the long idol on Bisarajan day ? How will be the Devi 'Bhasaan' ?

The club members have claimed this will be world tallest Durga idol.
