AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): “In my last 20 years of Chief Ministry I never cam across such an undemocratic Central Govt as the present oneâ€, Tripura CM said in an interview.
CM was talking about his I-Day at the Secretariat, that was later labelled as 'Anti-Nationalistic' remarks.
“Tripura is a part and parcel of the country and also a federal state. But we state govts have no option left except following the policies of the central govt. Not only Tripura, but the other states are facing the same”, said CM.
“Since 2014 of NDA era things had started to get worse. They can’t change the policies like this. By demolishing planning commission, they have brought NITI Aayog. I mean in every fields the Govt is snatching states’ rights”, said the CM.
