AMARPUR, Aug 24 (TIWN): Much excitement is there at Amarpur in the public to celebrate Ganesh Chaturdashi on Friday.

Ganesh Chaturthi, a great Hindu festival celebrated in honour of the elephant-headed god, will be held on Monday.

For businessmen this is considered as a more auspicious occasion.

However, the Ganesh puja this year has fallen on Aug-24.

Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi is the Hindu festival that reveres god Ganesha.
