KAILASHAHAR, Aug 24 (TIWN): SDM Kailashahar Subrata Chowdhury has called for a peaceful celebration of Durga Puja which is to be held on Sept last week.

In this regard a meeting was conducted among the all clubs' Presidents in the conference room of the SDM Office.

Vice Chairperson Manish Saha inaugurated the programme.

This year Durga puja will begin from Sept 26.

Durga Puja, also referred to as Durgotsava or Sharadotsav is an annual Hindu festival in South Asia that celebrates worship of the Hindu goddess Durga.
