SONAMURA / MELAGHARH, Aug 17 (TIWN): Pathetic condition of roads have turned lives miserable for common people at Sonamura.

According to the locals, many villages under Mohonpur block have left in deplorable shape hitting the people on the monsoon season mostly.

Expensing huge amounts, the roads are constructed but due to no drainage system as well as poor materials being used during the construction has led the condition worst.

The mostly affected villages have been identified as Telkajala, Baniachara, Dasrath Bari ADC village etc.

Even after multiple complaints no initiative has been taken to repair the roads there. Transports are running slow with high risks of accidents.

Locals have demanded faster recovery of the roadmaps at there.
