AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy on Independence Day calls back the partisan injuries the nation had received during the freedom.
"State does not need to be introduced about the significance of independence day. But for Tripura, Bengal it also shares tragic episodes when the nation was divided and a huge number of people were de-sheltered from land", said Roy.
"However, we should celebrate the gain, forgetting the losses", Tathagata Roy told media.
"Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it". Don't keep parroting 'Identity Politics', Governot Tweeted.
