AGARTALA, Aug 14 (TIWN): Sonamura hospital's fans, lights have been robbed on Sunday night creating much resentments among the locals.

The hospital was inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar in the presence of Health Minister Badal Choudhury  on July 4, 2017.The project expenditure was 11 crores.

The hospital yet to begin health service at there although 40 days have passed after the inauguration programme.

Atleast 40 fans and lights were theft, causing a damage to the infrastructure.

The hospital is however yet cut from power connectivity and facility. The high negligence of the authority has allegedly led the incident.

An FIR was lodged at Sonamura police station on Monday.
