UDAIPUR, Aug 13 (IWN): With a move to observe Food-movement day's 50 years completion led by left front party, Tripura CM Manik Sarkar has visited Udaipur to inaugurate Gouranga Das's idol at there, near Mahadeb Bari lake who became martyr during the movement.
Gouranga Das was killed by police's firing during movement before 50 years.
On the occasion of 50 years completion of that day CM along with his two Minister, MLA and former CPI-M leader has visited Udaipur.
CPI-M MLA Madhab Saha, Minister Ratan Bhowmik, former Minister Keshab Majumder and other party leaders remained present on that occasion.
The Chief Minister also met the family members of the CPI-M leader.
