AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): One day ago when Sudip Barman and his co along with many Trinamool supporters are joining BJP, Manik Sarkar said in a CPI-M rally at town hall premise, “Why you are going to join BJP ?”

“The BJP Govt has come in Centre before 3 years, but whatever the promises it did before the election, nothing has been fulfilled. You will get nothing by joining in BJP”, said Sarkar.

“CPI-M is only people’s actual friend but BJP is an enemy of poor people, enemy of nation”, said Sarkar.

However, comparing the 3 years of Modi Govt that brought express train, broad gauge  in Tripura, Manik Sarkar was silent about his CPI-M Govt’s 24 years corruption and deprivation and the allegations from the public. Sarkar also didn’t mention a single line for the SSA teachers who are in hunger strike since 6 days.
