AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): With a major blow, Tripura Govt has received the first notice from High Court against its much hyped 13000 posts.
The jobless computer faculties had appealed in the High Court after their applications were rejected by Education Dept to apply for those posts.
Seeing the advertisement of 13000 non-teaching posts, the computer faculties thought they would now appeal for those posts as during their tenure in govt schools as computer teachers, they were mainly assigned with classes and other academic works just like all normal school teachers.
Thus all the teachers wanted to apply for those posts, but strangely their applications were not accepted so far for the non-teaching posts.
On the other hand, the computer faculties have full proofs of being teachers as from copy checking to marksheet making, all jobs were done by them.
Later, with the scheme ended, 700 teachers lost jobs as computer faculties.
Some computer faculties could apply for the interview and some couldn't due to various Dist's various rules in Tripura.
However, HC has issued a notice in this regard to Tripura Govt & within 7 days state govt has to reply the notice.
