AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): Amid hitting allegations brought by Congress, CPI-M against Modi govt for being anti-poor, anti-farmer party, BJP national leader Binod Sankar said at Agartala atleast 90 lakhs of farmers loans have been relaxed by the BJP Govt after it came in power.
A total 36,000 crores of loands have been freed from the farmers in total.
Tripura CPI-M has constantly accused the Modi Govt for killing farmers across nation.
Interestingly, when Manik Sarkar was kept locked in his residence with BJP has gheraoed him since 6 AM on July 18, Food & Civil Supply Minister Bhanulal Saha has walked on the rally.
Left Front wing CPI on July 26 demanded from the Centre to help farmers with proper loans adding, "Above 60 years of farmers would be given a pension of Rs. 3000 per month".
However, counterattcking the allegations , BJP national leader Binod Sankar said that 90 lakhs of farmers loans, a total of 36,000 crores have been relaxed by the BJP Govt.
