AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): Tripura BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar said Manik Sarkar should put CPI-M flags on the police stations.
Deodhar was referring the IPFT strike over National Highway, where due to Home Minister’s order police could not take any action.
“Police in Tripura walk in CPI-M’s direction, merely a puppet in Manik Sarkar's hand One work Manik Sarkar yet has not done is to put CPI-M’s flag on police stations”, said Deodhar.
Referring police’s inactive role also against BJP when they gheraoed CM’s residence Deodhar said, “How Police would stop our protest as if police arrested us, then people would ask, why with IPFT issue police remained silent ? That’s the reason police just stood like puppet”.
“Police in Tripura operate not in administration’s direction, but the diection comes from Melarmath”, said Deodhar.
