AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): Tripurites woke up on Thrusday morning with utter shock of internet, SMS services down across State.

From law enforcement sources it was found that from 6am in morning, Internet services, SMS services were struck down by authorities in planned manner before enforcing Section 144 in Baramura Hills.

As per a source in Govt, it seems certain reasons behind this step to stop spreading communal messages and breaking 11 days old IPFT blockade in Baramura Hills.

From sources TIWN was informed that forces may end IPFT blockade by 9am, however due to lack of internet, all communication suddenly came to grinding halt.

TIWN will be providing further updates on this issue.  

At 10.30am Internet services were restored all over the State after IPFT's withdrawl of NH-8 blockade.
