AGARTALA, July 19 (TIWN): For the sake of a peaceful strike, security has been tightened at Agartala and other subdivisions during 12 hours strike called by Congress on Wednesday.
Opposing IPFT’s national highway, railway blockade Congress has called the shutdown for 12 hours.
Office, Colleges also remained shutdown badly affected by the strike.
However, security was tightened across the state and no untoward incident was reported so far.
Congress has accused both CPI-M and BJP behind the NH, Railway blockade in demand of a separate land.
