AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Phensedyl recovered from a vehicle at Agartala on Monday after it hit with a tree.

The vehicle bearing bundles of Phensedyl was coming from Sonamura and via GB road it was on the way of Ambassa when it met an accident, signifying drug -smuggling chain.

The smuggler has been identified as Litan Mia from Sonamura.

Litan Mia who was driving a Maruti Alto,  bearing number TR01Y0207 losing control in driving had hit the car with a tree at Bodhungar area.  

Being informed via locals Bodhjunnagar police rushed to the spot and recovered the drug-items from the car.

Presently Litan Mia is lockup at Bodhjunnagar police station.
