AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): People in Tripura even though deprived due to State Govt’s wrong policy makings, but when it comes for basic law and order and development of the society, the administration is afraid to take action due to the public-intervention.
Illegal things if the Govt wants seriously, then it can stop in an hour, but as a part of mocking to the democracy when AMC staffs went to evict the fish sellers at Milan Chakra’s Hathat Bazar area beside Udaipur-Agartala National Highway then not only the fish sellers but the local people stop the AMC workers to do so, asking if the shops are evicted, where they will go for purchasing fishes.
Due to fish selling openly on the road side, not only dirty smells hover across the area, but it creates huge traffic jam too leading accident chances.
The name of the market itself is contradictory : Hothat-Bazar, in English means a market suddenly developed.
However, after the chaos, AMC had to go back without any action leaving the fish market as it is.
The locals also said that inside Agartala there are various similar markets and AMC should evict those shops first.
Question raises, is this due to the over democracy in Manik Sarkar’s era, who has failed to be an ideal CM like Adityanath Yogi, who caused bans to all illegal shops and also shifted shops from wrong places to right places at UP, but in Tripura public are unafraid of law and order : Friday morning’s this incident is a typical example of it.
