AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): A 3 day long Assembly Session has begun in Tripura on Tuesday at Secretariat.

This special assembly session was organized to pass the GST bill which was asked by the central govt to all the states to pass.

Once the GST will be passed in the Assembly, it will be launched in Tripura from July 1st, 2017.

Tripura generally conducts 2 assembly sessions. However, for the sake of GST bill passing this special assembly session was conducted after the 1st Assembly Session was completed on February-March.

Along with GST other issues will also be stressed during the 3 day long (May-23, 24, 25) Assembly Session.
