AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): Calling an end to the small CBI office zone at Agartala, which has remained just for namesake, Central Home Ministry has ordered Tripura Govt to take preparations for a larger CBI office building in state.
This letter was sent to Tripura Govt long back by Central Home Ministry, but the state govt didn’t disclose about it, said a source.
The present CBI Office at Agartala Kunjaban has been filled up with some Mizoram officials and recently more officials were appointed in Tripura.
This decision was taken after bundles of allegations came against the Tripura Govt regarding RD, Rose Valley, increasing crime against women; that were continuously reported from Tripura.
