AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): If people remain poor then they will be dependent on the government & ultimately on CPI-M. This is the funda of Manik Sarkar’, said Tripura State Observer of BJP.
‘Hence they are not giving state government employees the salary recommended by 7th pay commission. More than 2 decades of incumbent CPI-M govt in Tripura is giving age old 4th pay commission salaries’, Deodhar added.
“Moreover it was arrogance at its peak when Marxist minister replied to a question of increasing salaries of state employees that they are not worthy of it. Because if salaries are increased than they would drink more liquor”, said Deodhar.
BJP is committed to give 7th pay commission salaries to state government employees in first cabinet meeting if elected to power. Now we would go for state wide agitation in support of state government employees.
