UDAIPUR, May 16 (TIWN): A 15 years girl was raped at Udaipur created much resentment among the locals.

The incident took place at Garji's Dataram area, when the girl was alone in the house.

Allegation came that neighbor Dhakarson Marak (18) entered the home and taking the opportunity of empty home raped her.

Hearing the screaming of the girl, the local people caught Dhakarson Marak on the spot and tightly beaten him.

Later a case was registered at Garjit PS, but now the case has been transferred to Women Police Station, R K Pur.

The accused is now under treatment at subdivisional hospital amidst tight security.

The girls was taken to Gomati Dist Hospital for medical test.
