AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): Tripura university Karmachari samity (TUKS) placed deputation to the VC regarding ongoing situation in Tripura University:

In the deputation it was written, "For the last few days it has been observed that some of the teaching staff without any banner (though led by leftist organisation to befool their fraternity) are staging frequent agitation followed by illegal "Gherao" of the University. An inquiry committee is also to be constituted to look into the legitimacy of the agitation  of the participating teaching/nonteaching staff".

"As the term of office of the present Registrar is to end on 30th June 2O17 ' advertisement has already been made for the said post' we, at TUKS would urgently demand to complete the recruitment process as early as possible to appoint a new Registrar", the statement further added.
