AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath, who is most likely to join BJP on Tuesday brought serious allegations against Tripura Left Front Govt accusing for doing 'serious crimes' with rural, Panchayat funds.
'In the name of MGNREGA, Rural Development, PMAY-Gramin yojna the Govt is looting crores', said Nath at Press Club.
Nath also alleged that violating the PMAY scheme's direct beneficiary system, which comes in 3 installments the left front govt, keeping the Assembly Election in front have planned to loot 7 to 8 crores of commission in the name of tin-distribution for PMAY beneficiaries.
'Why the Govt is keeping Rs. 18,460/- per person for tin-purpose ? Bricks, cement every items price have been increased, but why state govt has taken charge of only tin-distribution ?', said Nath.
Moreover, whereas Rural PMAY's funds were taken, but this same rule has not been implemented for urban areas. 'It's easy to fool village people rather than town areas people and CPI-M Govt always targets villagers and poor as it's easy to fool the, which is not possible in urban bodies', said Nath
Nath also brought allegations against RD Principal Secretary GSG Ayyanagr for helping the ruling party to loot rural development funds.
The MLA further claimed that GRF was changed by the govt but it did not implemented in RD / Panchayat Depts at all.
