AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Declaring more power to ADC, finally Modi govt has decided to felicitate ADC with direct funding.

Addressing a press meet, BJP tribal leader Jishnu Debbarma said, "Whereas CPI-M MP, leaders are pushing Centre to give more power to ADC, but they never demanded about direct funding system for ADC. Centralization of ADC fund that is fully controlled by state govt which initiates corruption. Thus from now ADCs will be funded directly".

"We do not believe in separate land, but to increase ADC's power is important", said Debbarma.

He further slammed the left front govt for looting ADC funds for long 24 years.
