AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): Tripura Govt after the notice of Central Govt for delaying of utilization of funds and treasury’s lengthy process, now proceeding towards a much transparent mode of transaction.
The Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha in this regard said, “During 2017-18, computerized Treasury Operation System will be integrated with E-kuber (Core Banking Soultion of RBI) for making direct payment to Payee’s Account.
“It will be further integrated with E-signs of DDOs, Voucher Level Computerization (VLC) of AG (A&G) and PFMS to ensure smooth financial transactions”, Saha added.
“The State Govt has upgraded 4 Sub-Treasuries located at newly opened Dist Head Quarters. One E-treasury has been established for real time monitoring of Govt receipts”, Saha added.
Most importantly, Saha said, “Finance Dept is working to ensure all government receipts and payments are paid and recived through digital move”.
However, how much time it will take to complete the operation it was not mentioned.
