AGARTALA, Feb 18 (TIWN): As a part of Shakti-Puja Trpura’s renowned sports center Vivekanda Sports Center has observed Hanuman Puja or Mahavira Puja on Saturday.
This puja was done with full enthusiasm as part of worshiping the power of nature and human soul.
Hanuman is a monkey god. He is a noble hero and great devotee of Lord Rama of the Ramayana.Lord hanuman is a provider of courage, hope, knowledge, intellect and devotion. Hanuman is pictured as a robust monkey holding a mace (gada) which is a sign of bravery and having a picture of Lord Rama tatooed on his chest which is a sign of his devotion to Lord Rama.
Hanuman is also called Mahaveera.(the great hero ) or Pavan-suta (son of air) or Bajarangbali.
Vyakaranas. He learnt the Sastras from the sun-god. He was the wisest of the wise, strongest of the strong and bravest of the brave. He was the Sakti of Rudra. He who meditates on him and repeats his name attains power, strength, glory, prosperity and success in life. He is worshipped in all parts of India, particularly in Maharashtra.
For an Indian athlete Hanuman’s power symbolizes as the extreme power of nature and human body. A huge number of devotees including children also participated in that ‘puja’.
