AGARTALA, Feb 18 (TIWN): A folk cultural programme was conducted at Girls’ Bodjung School on Saturday.

All the school students under Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) participated in that programme.

Various kinds of folk dances were performed on that occasion.

Tripura has various folk dances. Among the majority Bengali population, Tripura has Baul Dance, Sautali dance and many other local dances.

Tribals also have their folk dances as unique Reang Dance, Lebang Bumani Dance and much popular Garia Dance.
