Gandacharra 16th Feb(TIWN): 48 HOUR strike called by IPFT from 16th to 17th Feb. Tripura CPI-M will oppose the 48 hours strike in Gandacherra subdivision.

Recently  IPFT holds press meet, reiterates the slogans of separate state .Pressing much higher for separate Twipra land, The Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT), a tribal based party in Tripura, to observe 48 hour Gandacharra Sub Division bandh, said party leader.

The party is also scheduled to hold several agitations to achieve ‘Twipra-land’ with areas under tribal autonomous district council to protect the rights and identity of Tripura’s tribal population.

Addressing the press meet, IPFT leaders once again reiterated the same thing that they are not pushing for any irrelevant or unconstitutional demand; and the demand for the separate state is lawful.
