AGARTALA, Dec 30 TIWN): Tripura State BJP President Biplab Deb on Thursday accused the CPI-M Govt for publishing fabricated data about revenue generation from Tripura to fool Central Govt and State population.Asking about the 5 % DA hike, Deb said, “How can the govt give more DA as it has zero income, no revenue generationâ€.“Nothing will happen under this Govt. It has no initiative to generate more revenues so that the income of the state govt would increase. So how it will hike the DA more than 5 %â€?, Deb added.“This DA hike with 5 % is just a show-off and to hide to failure of the state govt to benefit the Govt employeesâ€, said Deb. It’s worthy to mention here that earlier in a shocking revelation it was known that the one and only CPI-M long ruling state Tripura’s GDP growth rate is only 7 %, which is the lowest in the whole country even worse than Jharkhand and any North East State.
Whereas during the 11thConvention of Tripura Upajaiti Karmachari Committee Tripura CM gave a one & half hours long speech to teach how to develop the economy of the country and how to increase the country made source of income. But on the same day a national BJP leader Shruti BangaruLaxmi told Tripura media that Tripura’s actual growth in domestic product is only 7 % as per central govt’s data, which has been identified as the lowest GBP growth rate in a country.
On Thursday, BJP State President again said that the state has no revenue income, whatever showing in govt record are all bogus and manipulated by corrupt IAS officials like Principal Secretary GSG Ayyangar.
