AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): The demand for banks, ATMs have drastically increased in Tripura in last few years, said Tripura CM.

Places like Jampui which was before few yrs fully terrorist occupied, now the villagers are using ATMs, which is a great revolution.

CM further said more branches of banks are needed in Tripura so that there would be no hurdles for the customer.

However, reportedly, in Tripura Gramin, banks are most in number which are serving the customers more than any other banks in rural areas.
