AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): Bajrang-Dal under Vishwa Hindu Parishad placed deputation to the West DM Millind Ramteke to take action against illegal smuggling of cows to Bangladesh and prohibition of Cow Slaughter, as well as other cruelty on cows.

They placed 5 demands :

1. Illegal trafficking of cows would be stopped,
2. Enforce Cow slaughter Act like other states as UP, Panjab, Orissa etc,
3. Regarding transportation by way of vehicles cow must be followed with compliance of strict rules,
4. Take necessary steps to stop cow smuggling to Bangladesh,
5. To protect cow from cruelty torture, the cow shed are to be constructed well, so that cows can live and reside smoothly.
