AGARTALA, Oct 21 (TIWN): Protesting against the urban body’s pathetic road condition BJP placed deputation to the Chief Engineer B P Das, who is also the project director of SIPMIU, Agartala.

In that deputation BJP 7 Ramnagar Mandal Committee President Ashis Pal wrote that the Ramnagar and Joynagar areas roads need faster renovation as they have gone in its worst shape.

In that letter Pal said, “As you are aware that we the people of Ramnagar and Joynagar areas within the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) are the worst sufferers and facing inconveniences for a quite-long period due to dilapidated and bad condition of different roads under your disposal. The vehicular traffic on most of those roads has considerably increased following construction of flyover between Battala and Fire Brigade of Agartala town”.

BJP further urged for the urgent recovery of the roadway as fast as possible.
