AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress on Wednesday placed deputation before West DM Millind Ramteke asking reason behind his interference in medias’ freedom.

On Tuesday a video-footage was leaked by electronic media where Jhumu Sarkar, who has been selected as Barjala constituency’s Left Front candidate, was dancing  during the immersion of Durga idol of her locality allegedly in uncontrolled way.

At that moment those TV channels were closed by Govt administration.

Accusing West DM for he is taking all actions, according to the party direction, TMC has placed deputation before him.

However, DM said he has no link with party and he works according to his prescribed roles.
