Tripura farmers busy with winter vegetable cultivation

AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): With the seasonal change practice of winter vegetable cultivation is on peak across rural Tripura.
TIWN reporter visited Lankamura, a border area near to Agartala where craze for radish cultivation was on peak.
TIWN talked to the farmers about their planning for the winter business. They told TIWN that already preparation for winter vegetable cultivation is going on but due to the rain some disruption occurred.
However, farmers are hopeful that in this coming season their business will be high.
“Last year vegetable cultivation in our area was quite satisfactory”, a local man told TIWN.
