AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): CPI-M has began campaigning for the bi- poll for Barjala constituency which is scheduled to held on Oct 19.
Trinamool to begin campaigning from the evening, reported TIWN.
However, competition among TMC & CPI-M is huge as Tripura Trinamool Congress led by Sudip Roy Barman in a press meet said that TMC has talked to the other opposition parties for not to submit candidates’ names in this upcoming bi-election, TIWN correspondent reported from the press meet at TMC Bhawan.
The bi-election which will be held on Nov 19; 5th Nov is the last date for submitting candidates’ names.
‘For the next bi-election, Prakash Chandra Das will be the candidate for Barjala constituency & for Khowai Manoj Das will be the candidate on behalf of TMC’, Barman told TIWN.
However, for the upcoming election CPI-M is busy to set their flags in Barjala area, although in last few months multiple road blockade held at Barjala area in demand of road repairing, electricity, water supply.
Without fulfilling the demands CPI-M now busy to campaigning and beg votes from the public.
