NEW DELHI/AGARTALA, Oct 15 (TIWN / IANS): Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday approved re-constitution of the party's Tripura unit with Pradyut Kishor Deb Barman named as its working president.

She also approved re-constitution of nine district committees in the northeastern state, said Congress General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi in a statement.
