AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): After TMC leader Sudip Roy Barman disclosed about Tripura Education business brokers link with outside Colleges who loot Rs. 3.5 crores under Central Govt’s 100 % scholarship scheme and selected 9 vague Colleges for 348 Students & said that Barman will write letter to HRD Minister, Tripura Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha’s eyes opened & calling a press meet decided that Tripura govt. this time is not sending any student to outside the state. If any student want to study they can go by own expense.
Then TMCP asked for inquiry behind the selection procedure, demanding the name who were involved in that.
But till day who were beside these scam CPI-M didn’t disclose, resulting huge resentment among the people.
The last 2 scams held in admission of 348 students in B Sc nursing & General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) in the 2016, hit the Education Dept. after the last year’s massive scams held in this same Dept. with same issue about students admission in outside Colleges.
There were 9 Colleges selected by Tripura Govt. as:
1)Josco College of Nursing-which has no Affiliation, 2)Mahatma Gandhi College , where students before 2 years held protest not to do class in this College, 3)Maitreyi at Hyderabad which has no hospital, 4) Venkateswara at B;lore also has no hospital, 5)Sri Krishna Rakamari, which is based on a Rent house & also more 4 Colleges---------Violating all rules of Central Govt.’s scheme.
But surprisingly no inquiry has been done on against the case.
