AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): Durga Puja is being celebrated in many parts of the country on the occasion of Maha Navami.

Devotees in large numbers thronged temples and offered their prayers on the ninth day of Navratri, also known as Navami.

With the Maha-Navami, the feeling of farewell of Devi Durga has gripped the state as with Bijoya Dasami Devi Durga will depart from Earth for more another year from her parental home (Martya Lok).
