AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN): One Raju Debbarma was arrested with 2 packets of brown sugar from Agartala Gol-Chakkar area.

Raju Debbarma is a resident of AD Nagar area, who was carrying 2 small packets of brown sugar with him.

Battala Police nabbed the suspected person & 2 packets of brown sugar were recovered from him.

Rush of people were observed at Gol-Chakkar area after police arrested him. Women almost beaten him up on the spot, but police anyhow managed the situation.

Gol Chakkar area is well popular for all kinds of illegal business. However, with the initiative of Police locals are happy.

The brown sugar have been sent for testing. However, police is further doing inquiry on him and finding out the link between him and other smugglers.
