AGARTALA, Se 26 (TIWN): Tripura Assembly ends on Monday stressing on various issues of the state by Opposition party among which corruption & tortures upon women were the main theme of discussion.

Tripura has massive number of corruption.  Forest Dept, RD Dept., PWD, Industry Dept, Education Dept---there is not a single dept. which is out of corruption.

On the 3^rd day of the Assembly, opposition raised question and data record about various scams in Govt offices and how many cases are pending in courts, against how many cases, legal action has been taken.

In case of crime against women from moving vehicle rape to household domestic tortures were raised.

The opposition raised many questions on the 2nd day of the Assembly as : What’s the status of Biomass project at Dhalai Dist., What’s the sanitary condition, which was made by ICDS,  Kanchanpur school to be developed into HS School or not? etc.

Many questions raised about Education, SC/ ST/ Welfare works. Manik Sarakar’s anti-national comment also raised question on the 2^ndday.
