AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): This is an Era of Digitalization & E-Commerce, E-Governance are the key to success, such a message was given by SBI MD Rajnish Kumar at Pragna Bhawan on Thursday.

SBI MD Rajnish Kumar arrived here in Tripura to give his key address in the 3^rd   NE Industry summit organized by FICCI.

Stressing on the importance of internet banking he said, “78 % transactions of SBI was done from outside the bank, whereas physically from branches participation is only 22 %”.

“Many works are done by internet. We give loan to many people by online”, he said.

He also mentioned about the importance of tie-ups for developments in every field from Agriculture to Industry.

Total 730 branches of SBI are now located in Northeast”, Kumar said.

About infrastructure he said, “Infrastructure can not be possible without digitalization & Technical feasibility”.
