BISHALGHAR, Sep 14 (TIWN): Kanchanmala to Gaburdi Bridge remained broken for last six months at Golaghati under Bishalghar Sub Division. Lackluster PWD remained in slumber .The lacklustre attitude of PWD(R&B) tolled high on the people of this sub-division. And the situation became so grave that a broken bridge could not be making operative even in six months .Still the political leaders as well as the commoners remained shutting up.

But, in reality, the condition remained the same even till today. Last night heavy rain the road now is in deplorable condition particularly for school going students.

When asked the PWD(R&B) Executive Engineer assured that, the situation would be handled soon and the road would be operative by mitigating the problem of the bridge.

However, it got revealed that, as the contractor had to get huge pending bills and the department could not clear them before the ensuing Puja, hence he would not start the work before Puja.
