AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): Although on Saturday a meeting held at DM office, about increasing black marketing in state, but there is no respite from petrol crisis in state, and petrol pumps are busy with long queues of bikers.
Talking to SDM P Acharjee at Dharmanagar, he said, ‘Everyday 20-30 tankers entering in state’.
But after entering of enough tankers, the reason behind petrol crisis is however unknown.
Fuel crisis continues to suffer the state with Long queues or with board of ‘No Petrol’ hanging in front of the major petrol pumps even on Friday. The non-repaired heavily damaged part of National Highway which is causing hindrance for plying of vehicles to is yet left without solution increasing fuel crisis inside state.
Alike Lowairpoa to Churaibari the condition of few kilometers stretch of the National Highway inland Tripura is also same.
NH-44 which is known as lifeline of landlocked Tripura has been extensively damaged due to PWD’s negligence, resulting petrol/ diesel crisis inside the state.
But following the ongoing crisis of fuel and food due to National Highway’s pathetic condition Tripura Govt. officials contacted with the Engineers and High Level Officials at Assam.
However, renovation work has been started at Lowairpoa, but due to monsoon it is halting.
