SANTIRBAZAR, July 8 (TIWN): 30 families of CPIM supporters joined the TMC in Santirbazar Sub Division under South Tripura District.

The TMC Leader Ratan Chakraborty said that altogether 300 voters owing allegiance to the CPIM & Cong  deserter their party and joined the TMC formally by accepting the party flag.

TMC Leaders also said that the trend of joining TMC was continuing all over the state. 'Actually despite failure of the ruling CPI (M) the Congress could never play the role of constructive opposition; this is the reason why the frustrated voters have joined the TMC and our ranks will swell all over the state' said TMC Leaders of South Tripura .
