AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): To create awareness amongst the men and families of GC CRPF Agartala “International day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” was observed on Sunday by BSF.

The programme was organized at Group Centre, CRPF, Adarani, Agartala with the theme “Listen First”.

Dr. Babul Roy, Medical Officer of GC Hospital Agartala delivered the awareness speech and briefed the audience about the harmful effects of banned drugs or drugs taken illegally/without medical prescriptions.

‘It must be avoided as drug abuse and illicit trafficking cases show alarming rise in social crimes’, said Roy.
