DAMCHARA, June 20 (TIWN): 30th Assam Rifles Btln, under P S Damchara at Dhalai Dist.has booked 2 person red-handed while circulating fake notes worths 1 lakh.

The two arrestees have been identified as Balaram Reang (29) and Hobender Reang (48).

They are resident of Nepal Tilla under Dhalai District and Assam rifle Jawans recovered 1000 rupees notes worths Rs. 1 lakhs but all were fakes.

The case has been registered with Under Section 489/ C/ Damchara P S / Case No-12/16.

The 2 persons are connected with fake note racket between Assam-Mizoram and Tripura-Aizwal.
