AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): No solution has been come out for the cooking gas crisis in state, as the bottling has been reduced in state.
Reportedly, in Bishalgarh Bottling plant the bottling has been lessen, and import of cylinder from Silchar has been stopped since few days which has increased the crisis one more step. Importing of cylinder via gas-bullet from Silchar, has been stopped due to NH-44’s condition.
Although atleast 50 bullets started for Tripura, but in the middle of the road, many have been paused due to the pathetic condition of NH-44.
So, in total bullets intrusion and bolting degradation in state, is creasing the LPG crisis in state.
Subscribers are facing hard-times as their cylinder delivery is getting late, but surprisingly in black market the selling of cylinders in high price is very much prevalent.
But lack of stringent rules in state, is increasing the black marketing of domestic cooking gas cylinder across Tripura.
With the negligence of the state Govt. over the chain of black marketing, cooking gas has become hard to manage for the common people here. Taking advantage of the loose law & enforcement, a large number of food stalls and factories freely use the cylinders meant for domestic use.
A resentment prevails between the deliverymen and customers, but the govt. is not taking the main initiative which was to be taken. Negligence has hit the state’s common public.
In black market the rate has gone to 1,200-1500. The Union government introduced the direct benefit transfer scheme (PAHAL scheme) with a hope to check black marketing. But the channel between unscrupulous customers and delivery men continues in state.
